Haryana State
legal services authority with the collaboration of Education department of
Haryana has opened legal literacy clubs in the Secondary/Senior secondary
schools and colleges. At these clubs the students are apprised about the
various rights and duties of citizens, about socio-legal issues. The students
also participate in activities such as debate, declamation, poetry, skits,
essay writing, slogan writing on issues of socio-legal relevance. These
competitions are organized at school level/District level/ Division and finally
at state leval.
The aim of
this literacy club is to reach out to the most marginalized and vulnerable
sections of the society. They need to know that all are equal before the law
and have equal protection of the law. The club focuses on education on legal
right, education on fundamental rights, education on fundamental duties and
education on the availability and benefits of legal aid.

Our School held meeting from time to time under the
inchargeship of Smt. Savitri Devi (Lect
in Hindi) and chairmanship of the Principal Smt. Kamla Devi. The various
competitions and rallies are organized based on the occasions. From time to
time the student Legal Literacy club observe important Days like world
Environment Day, Women’s Day, Disability Day, Mental Health Day, Children’s
Day, National Legal Service Day, Anti-Tobacco day, World AIDS Day, Hand Washing
Day etc and spread message in the public for their general awareness.
